Happy hearts day

I'm not really into Vday but for everyone else that's got plans for a muy romantico evening, have a great time and drive safely! The roads are so icy, I really hope people get their flowers delivered.
Granted that I don't like the whole $50 roses, jewelry, crazy expensive gifts idea - I still partake in the whole card and giving each other something very small/cute. I always gave Kevin a pair of Vday boxers but I'll admit, I stopped doing it for the past 2 years while going to school. But I'm restarting it again this year.
Last night, when I came back from an early Chinese new year dinner, I noticed a bag hanging on the door. I peered in and saw the handwriting on the card and knew immediately that Kevin had dropped it off. What did he give me? A box of cupcakes!! I swear, those 6 little babies brought the hugest smile to my face and helped cheer me up. They're all varied - chocolate with vanilla icing, chocolate with chocolate icing, vanilla with vanilla icing, vanilla with chocolate icing, red velvet with cream cheese icing, and chocolate with peanut butter icing.
Honestly, I feel kind of spoiled with this gift. It's more than just cupcakes: He knew that I wouldn't want him driving over today in this kind of weather because it worries me, so he did it last night. He thought about what he was going to get me instead of buying whatever overpriced item they have blasting in stores. He knew not to make me uncomfortable by going overboard. Oh there's a whole bunch of other stuff but I don't want to make anyone hurl from the sappiness.
Money doesn't show love. But it can buy cupcakes. Love and mieee you!

C-dawg wants to wish everyone a happy valentine's day! Doesn't he look like quite the gentleman?
