I spy a goalie's butt

Last night, I went to see the Rangers vs. Red Wings game. Of course I had to get some Pinkberry beforehand. I'm crazy, I know, especially it being so flipping cold yesterday! Kevin's uncle had given him these tickets for Xmas and I was real excited because they were club seating. The seats were so close! I actually could see the player's facial features, and I swear, when they were slammed onto the glass, I swore you could see the snot and spit. I've never had seats behind one of the goals but it was really awesome being able to see the pucks being shot that closely.

Unfortunately, the Rangers lost the game, 3-4. They basically handed the game over to the Red Wings. They had such a great lead in the first period with 3 goals. How do you go from that to letting them win? It was incredible watching two goals being scored within seconds of each other. Strangely, they were a lot of Red Wings fans there last night. It's not like the team is from a neighboring state. Guess who left all annoyed yet again?

The train ride home was crowded but these men decided to move over and share their booth with us. Probably only because they saw that we were Rangers fans as well. The guy next to me kept saying that I would've been a better goalie last night. I know Mr. Sexy hasn't been doing his greatest but it's not all his fault, there is no defense! Don't get me wrong, he had some great saves last night. As Kevin says, he really is just a shooting target. I am just sick of watching the opposing players go slap happy on him. For the time that they were on the train, we were all just discussing the games. Apparently, they've been having no luck getting to watch winning games either.

Oh yeah, Liam Neeson was at the game last night. There was also that tennis player there (I really should know his entire name) - MacIntyre, the one that has some anger issues. I hope they do better for their 3 games this week.

We were sitting in the purple seat sections. Apparently, if you sit in the front-most gray section, they take orders and bring you the food. We were on the side of the Red Wings, but it's all good, that meant we had the chance of watching the Rangers score for two periods. You can see Lundqvist stretching in a split.

This was after they scored the 2 consecutive goals! It was so nuts. Too bad it didn't last. But there's Shanahan, who scored the 1st goal. You go hi-five and gives hugs!

Ohhh, Mr. Sexy - I pleaded for you take your mask off on our side but you kept it on. Kevin didn't think I would actually take a pic of him drinking his water, but I did.

John McEnroe? You might be confusing him with Joey McIntyre of boy band fame :)

Dah, I don't know why I did that. I knew it was that last name, but since I was having issues spelling it (Mac...), somehow I ended up with the guy from New Kids on the Block. Thanks.

How was the Meadowlands? The men on the train were saying that there would be a new one built in Newark. True, he can't stop everything but he still should be given more help than he has now. It's funny, I was so excited about the green ones that I had gotten Kevin for his bday but the club seating ones he got from his uncle, holy! You can clearly see their facial features! Our last one is in March - we're taking Jeff (since Kevin took me to his Xmas gift one).
