Pretty in white



Can I just say how surprised I am by how much it snowed and stuck? Granted, it's really not that much in comparison to other snowfalls that we've had. When it had started yesterday, I figured it would be like an inch and it'd be all melted by morning. I do love the way that clean snow is, it makes everything so gorgeous. But I don't like having to drive in it or having to dig my car out! It took me so long to get my car ready this morning because underneath all the snow, there was a sheet of ice that I had to scrape off.

Cinnamon was very persistent on wanting to come out this morning while I was clearing my car off. Since I wouldn't be able to watch over him, he could only look from inside the door. But when I got home this afternoon, I let him out for a bit. I didn't want to keep him out too long because I didn't want him getting sick or eating too much snow. He was such a character - he was timid around the snow, creeping up to it and sniffing it. He kept looking back at me, as if he didn't want to go any closer to it. Dude, he was the one that was ready to rip off the door this morning so go explore the snow! The way he walked with his paws was so dainty-like.

Unrelated, I was just at the supermarket and I was paying for my groceries. They have huge windows there so the sun was completely blinding me. I was squinting one of my eyes so that I could check out the prices. Apparently, the cashier thought I was winking at him so he decided to wink back at me with a $100 grin.
