White goods



The casa finally got its much needed new stove and washer/dryer set. The stove has been crapped out for the last few years but I dealt with using it ghetto style. I love that there's a little window that I can see through on. I know that's been out ages ago but it still makes me happy. I haven't given it a try yet. I'll admit, I do miss the dial for the stove temperature. The timer is an added bonus. Now I won't have to use math and write out the times on sticky notes. I was very hesitant about the washer/dryer set being stacked up, it kind of freaked me out. After seeing it stacked, I saw how much space it saved so it's a good thing. The buttons and lights are so cool! It reminds me of a CD player or something. The brand is LG, and here I thought they only made cell phones. There are way too many options on it though. The dryer has this sensor option that automatically sets up the time and temperature for each type of load. Also, there's this cool rack that you can slide in that'll keep your sweaters, sneakers, hats, toys, etc. in place so they don't tumble around. While the delivery guys were setting it up, I realized that I'll need a stool now to hit the dryer buttons.
