Ice ice baby

Yesterday was supposed to be my city day. I had planned to leave earlier and look at some shops before visiting Kevin's office. Well, the early part didn't go as planned. I got to the Hamilton station 45 minutes before the train I wanted and I couldn't find ONE parking space. I went in all the lots and circled around tons of times. Not one spot! Obviously I missed my intended train and I figured I'd wait right outside the doors and stalk someone for their spot. Not one person got off the train! In the end, I got someone to drop me off at Princeton Junction so my whole schedule was thrown off.

Once I got into Penn Station, I was able to find my subway and find Kevin's office. When I walked in, the secretaries all knew me from the pictures (I'm assuming). I got to meet his boss and go into his office. Sooo cool, he has one of those windows where he can see the floor but they can't see him. I'd have so much fun with that. I've given Kevin two tasks to do in my place. I got to see Kevin's office too, very nice. It was awesome being able to finally put faces and places to what he tells me. I was able to see where Kevin moved around on the floor and how he now has the only other office. I want to decorate his office though - I'm such a girl! I did leave him little post-it notes all over the place though!

We walked around a bit because we still had some time to kill before going into MSG. Around 6:30ish, we went in for my "present" to Kevin, the Rangers vs. Penguins game! My first hockey game ever! I got us really nice seats, center ice and pretty close. Granted I paid more than double the value of the tickets but that's the only way I could have gotten them. Sports are always so much more exciting live! I love it! If I watched golf live too, I'd probably get excited. Nah, never mind, nothing could ever make golf exciting, even if they played it in the nude or on fiery grass mounds!

It was an intense match! I'm pissed off that the Penguins won by one within the end of the last period though. It was 6-5 (booooo to Pittsburgh). There were so many bad calls made by the refs, not to mention penalties that went uncalled. We were surrounded by Penguins fans though...a couple on my left, a couple in front of us, and two guys who did not shut their mouths the entire game. The "enemies" were definitely pissing me off so I decided to annoy them with my comments. I think my best line was still, "That's right, how's the ice taste bitch?!?" I KNOW the Penguin man in front did not enjoy that at all. I had a lot of fun booohing and cheering! Not to mention got to see my sexy man in action. There was one fan that sat behind us that was cracking me up. He was screaming all these comments that I would've too, if I wasn't a girl!
