Happy Thanksgiving!

It was so crazy trying to prepare for Thanksgiving yesterday with two people in a small kitchen. At times like these, I really wish I had two sinks! I figured this year I'd save myself the trouble of having to bake to individual orders that are given to me without much notice. I just baked a batch of a few different goods and figured they could duke it out and pack up what they wanted.

So how was the feasting? Awesome, as always! I was happy to have Kevin join in for the first time, so it was nice having him there for non-turkey day. I had warned him in advance that I tend to sit at the table for a while with my endless plate servings. I even ended up using 2 plates this year.

I got to try out the Nintendo Wii for a bit. It's pretty cool but I'm not dying to have one or anything. It's funny that they have this little wrist band that you tighten so that you don't send your controller into the computer screen. But seriously, after watching my cousin Kevin play, I know understand why it's there. The Balderdash was busted out while we were waiting for dinner. It's not as much fun when you play with people who give way too smart answers! After dinner we started playing Taboo with a battle of the sexes and once again, the ladies win! There were so many funny things that were given out as clues but due to the "content" of them, I really can't write them there. Kevin was up for the boys and he was trying to get them to say flirting, so he gave the clue of, "what you do when you first meet a girl you like." What do my 2 cousins scream out? One screams out "stalking them" while the other screams out "foreplay"! Looks like one of them is asking to get arrested while the other is just that smooth. I was excited to finally make full use of my Cranium game. Dude, I do not get how so many of my cousins do not know the songs: Yesterday, Stand By Me, and Strangers in the Night! There are only so many ways you can hum and doo-doo-do those songs. In the end, Susan's team won but put her on any team, that'll always be the outcome; unless we were playing Guess the Porn or something along those lines.

But it was a very yummy and fun night and I hope everyone else had a great time as well! It's time for bed because I'm getting picked up at 7:30am for Black Friday Shopping.
