Third time is not the charm

I am so shaken up from today - I've almost had 3 bad accidents! None, of course would have been my fault. In the morning, I was driving to work. You CAN'T turn left on highways. Well, the 3rd car in front decided to slam on his brakes to make an illegal left turn. I braked as hard as I could and it just was not stopping in time so I ended up swerving to the side a bit. The car behind me ended up driving his car up on the grassy median to keep from sandwiching me in between two cars. My heart was pounding like crazy and all I could think about was how bad it would have been if I was jammed in the middle of the two cars.

About 5 minutes later, I see a car completely in my lane as he's trying to turn out of a QuickChek. He's completely stopped in the middle of the road and only when I'm about to pass him, he peels out nearly driving straight into me. Luckily I was able to slam on the brakes and swerve this time. I just don't get it, he could've peeled out so early ago but only followed through as I'm driving past?

As if that wasn't enough. During class as I was releasing the projector screen, I saw this huge thing fly down centimeters away from my face and heard this loud crash! I guess as I was walking away, I had my hand out and luckily my hand is what stopped the object from hurting anyone. The whole map scroll had fallen off! I have no idea how that happened but it was so close to hitting me on the head. If my hand wasn't out, it would have caused some serious damage. I didn't even attempt to put the heavy map back up and honestly, unless I can be guaranteed that it's securely attached, I don't even want it back up.
