An unfriendly game of tag

What the heck? I just can't get a break, can I?

For the past few years, someone or something has managed to hit my car in some shape or form. This ranged from a deer, a crazy woman, to a man on a motorcycle. The best part, it's NEVER my fault - there was even that time where my car was parked and I wasn't even driving it.

So what's the deal this time? All I was trying to do was back out of my spot after grocery shopping for tonight's dinner. I had backed out completely and was getting ready to shift into drive when I saw in my mirror that another car had backed out at lightning speed. From what I saw from the mirror, the car was smacked close to me like a sandwich. I started honking my horn to get her attention and she finally stopped. If she hadn't stopped, she could've taken out the entire rear of my car. It's real nice knowing that she completely didn't look before or while she was backing out! If I saw her that close, I would've been that close in her mirror too. I pulled back into my spot, she did the same. I went to check out if there were any damages. Honestly, it's not horrific but she definitely scratched off some paint from the side. She gave her car a quick wipe and came over to do the same to mine. She actually had the audacity to ask, "Is that from just now?" Uhm hi, you just wiped the paint that you scratched off of my car from your car! What do you think? Real nice, her car was alright while mine got some paint stripped. There really wasn't any sense in doing anything about it. The motorcycle incident last year caused more icky stuff to my car, and even then when I called the police, the officer told me it was no big deal and refused to write a report. I'm sure I would have been given an even harder time with this one. You should've seen how quickly she peeled out of her spot to leave afterwards.

It just sucks, sucks, and sucks. You can't really do anything with the little incidents but those scratches and dents will always be there to remind you of the bad luck. Much like a "Hey, sh*t happens, so deal with it!"

Thinking back on it, she's real lucky it was my car that she hit - I don't even want begin to imagine if it had been a child/person walking behind her.

I'm glad it wasn't that serious of an accident. I'm sorry to hear that you've had all these car troubles though. =(
