Quick update
My grandma is no longer in the ER but she's still in the hospital. I really haven't been able to get the full details from my parents since they're so stressed and tired from going in and out of the city. I know that the doctors have run all these tests and can't figure out the reasons for her symptoms. I just hope that she can go home soon!
As for the car, I finally was able to pick it up yesterday. I just love how they tell me they're closing up the car and it'll be ready in the next hour, when they really mean I can wait another 5 hours until they really do any of that. The cost ended up being a little less than $400 (thanks to my coupon). They replaced the small area of the wiring and now the car is fine. But like they said, they "hope" that the squirrels only damaged the small area and not the entire thing since that would result in me being stranded somewhere and having to deal with a pricey amount to pay. I asked if there was anything I could do to prevent this type of damage from happening - the guy told me to set up traps by my car. Uhm okay, that's what I'll be doing.

Also, I'm kinda wondering what was wrong with your car!
In a nutshell, the wiring of the gas gauge was destroyed....so they just replaced that small area and they're hoping that's it. I hope so too - I don't want to be stranded somewhere and then have to deal with the costs of replacing all of the wiring stuff.
haha! i get it, squirrels - nutshells. you're so funny....
...but really, we should go hunt down those lil bastards and fire at them with a bebe gun.
i think it would cheer up your grandma too. glad she's out now. :)
