Get my sleep on
I went to bed at a decent time last night but I wasn't able to get any sleep at all. I literally laid there for over four hours and never fell asleep once! I was definitely feeling really tired but my body just wasn't cooperating. The strangest thing was that I sort of felt this anxiety attack come on. Normally before interviews or when the crap has really hit the fan, my mind races way too much to be able to fall asleep. It was those same feelings last night - the mind racing, palpitations, uneasiness, chest discomfort, clammy hands, etc. Except the difference was that I couldn't pinpoint what the anxiety was coming from. It's really frustrating to me that it came out of nowhere and I can't figure out why. It's as if my body has decided that since I haven't had one of my breakdowns, it's not decided to force one out of me.
Let's just hope I can get a good night's rest tonight...
