We celebrated Jessica's bday early last night since Beth was home from CT. So sad on our part, but we were excited about bringing the wine to a restaurant like how all the "older" people do. The bottle was the almond berry one that I picked up at the local winery, it was pretty good. We actually ended up finishing the entire bottle during dinner. After our late dinner, we came back home to surprise Jess with the cake. While she was in the potty, we quickly got the candles all lit up and ready. Of course she ended up taking forever and the candles were quickly burning out, so we screamed for her to hurry up because someone was about to crap their pants. She actually believed us and we could hear her scurrying down the stairs. The cake was good, it was a strawberry swirl one that I had made.

Afterwards, we all went to a bar. I went to get Jess a bday shot and asked for a yaegarbomb but apparently they didn't have any red bull. So I asked the bartender if he could make a red headed slut. He responded back, "Sure I can make that. But I've also had a few of those, if you know what I mean." Uhm, mmmkay, more info than I needed to know. I'm just glad I wasn't the one that went up to get the BJ shots, I can only imagine what he would say in response to that. Oh yeah, there was a live band doing covers that night too. Towards the end of the night, there was this one guy that kept doing like NSYNC dance moves to all the songs (btw, none were pop songs at all).
