4th time is the charm

Man, are my thighs and shins sore from rock scrambling! But it's all good, it was a blast as always. Surprisingly, neither Emmy nor I fell! Whew. The first year, M was inches away from the cliff. The second year, I did one of those "slow" slides completely on my back on the wet and dirty crevice floor. Last year, I fell on the way there and M fell on the way back. Granted that I didn't fall this year but I did get my foot stuck and landed on all fours. It was actually a pretty funny sight and I let the rock have my sneaker. The only things that sucked was that this was the first time the weather has been so iffy and that it actually did drizzle, and that my "reliable" camera/memory card failed out on me and lost all my pics! (Though I'm still going to blame Jeff's mooning for the demise of my pictures)
