New beginnings
This has been one crazy weekend, but absolutely fun and beautiful! On Friday night, we all had the rehearsal dinner. Which I now have learned, is not actually a "rehearsal" to eat dinner! I have such issues with walking slowly without looking like a weirdo so apparently I had bolted down the aisle.
Saturday was the 1st wedding of our friends! Congratulations Jasmine & Paul! Granted it started off a little crazy but I think that everything worked out in the end. The best thing about girls is that we'll all help each other get ready and keep a check to make sure you look alright. Although I went with Jasmine to all her fittings, it was so amazing to see her in the dress and all her accessories! When I was helping her get into her dress, part of me was a little sad because that would be the last time that I would have to help her do that. Everyone looked gorgeous, the ladies and the men! Granted that the dresses weren't the most comfortable but heck, it pays to look good, haha. We went off to Monmouth U for more pictures. While Jasmine and Paul were off taking their pics, the rest of us just wandered around. Once the time was up, it was church time. I was too nervous about trying to not bolt nor trip, that I ended up having a death grip on the bouquet and probably looked very serious. (I was just telling myself: don't trip, don't trip) Ooh though, I got to wear the ring for a bit. The ceremony was perfect, not too short or too long and their vows were very sweet. Afterwards, we went to the reception which was sooo nice! We had a private room upstairs which was really good because we got a chance to take off our shoes and sit comfortably (which meant unattractively)! Also, the issue of using the bathroom meant you needed more than one girl. After the cocktail hour was up, it was time to be announced. I was nervous about that too, mainly that I would put the bouquet in the right place and find the right table. While waiting to get called, I tried sneaking a peek inside the room. Once we got into the room, it was beautiful, it was exactly what I had pictured Jasmine wanting. I had already seen the centerpieces in advance but I knew she wanted this enchanted forest feel to it, and that was exactly the vibe I got!
The wedding and reception was beautiful and I know that everyone had a wonderful time! It has been a honor and pleasure in taking part in Jasmine's fairy tale!

I love the pic on the left of Jasmine in the shuttle! She looks like a princess sitting in all her poofy-ness!

Shana's Valenta pose & her making out with the Head

Emmy & I with our Valenta poses - It's funny, now we all finally know why the models are in these positions! It's actually more comfortable that way.

The boys jumping off the ledge! The girls holding onto each other's sashes.
Oh the happiness doesn't just finish with the wedding! When I got home on Sunday, I found out that Christina gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Ian! I had my money on Christina having the baby on Jasmine's wedding. So congratulations to Chris & Christina!

emmy
Hahahaha...we really have to think this through on how we can use those dresses again. Now if we did a BM one, none of the guys would have anything to wear and not everyone has been a BM. Put on your thinking caps yo!
