Awaiting for his attack.. Posted by Picasa

I'm glad the weather got warmer for today. Now the kids can actually not freeze in their costumes! I remember back in the day, I used to have to wear like turtlenecks and extra pants underneath my costume just because it was so cold out! I hated doing that but it was either do it or not be allowed to go out at all. It sucks that I have class tonight because I'll miss most of the lil kiddie costumes.

Uh duh!

I was at Quiznos for lunch today and I noticed that they had a picture of this new "double bacon BLT" and it looked really good. Since my eyes & brain don't allow me to read lit boards, especially those with white backgrounds, I quickly asked Kevin to read me what was inside of that new sandwich. His response, "Uhm, it's a DOUBLE bacon, BLT...what do you think is in it?" At that very moment, it clicked...yeah, not too smart on my part.

The other night, my uncle was trying to tell me to push the "audio" key on the controller but I thought he said "au see" (cantonese for take a crap). So I kept asking him who took a crap and he gave me the strangest look. Though I think he was mad at me because he thought I was making fun of his English but I really thought he said the crap phrase.

You know the saying, "it's all fun and games until someone's eye gets poked out"? Let's just say that by accident tonight, I poked someone's eye, though I think they moved their eye onto my finger. My finger seriously went in like halfway into the socket, it was so scary! But I'm still very sorry though!

Toilet magnetism

It was either the weirdest day or my clumsiest. Whenever I had something in my hand in the bathroom, it would find its way to plummet into the toilet. No joke. What’s worse is that each time it happened, it would occur in slow motion. I could see myself losing grip on the item, watching it slowly drop, and make a splash into the water. Of course as it happened, I’d be making my “Noooo!!” face. Too bad the 5 second rule doesn’t apply to toilet water. Well, not that any of the items were food, but even if they were, I wouldn’t be attempting to eat them. I did soak them in burning water though. I’ll pretend that’s good enough to sterilize them.

Unanswered

Vandalize, steal, and destroy....why do people find it alright to do so? More importantly, why can they get away with it?

Kelly rocks!

The Kelly Clarkson concert tonight was great! She's really good live and does she have a voice on her. I already loved her but this just reinforces it, haha. Only a few things sucked, had to wait forever for her to come on, the theater was freezing, and she didn't perform for very long. She seemed very down to earth and she was constantly cracking jokes. Even better, she likes rocking the fingerless gloves and army fatigues clothing, just like me.

So we tried to get food once we got off the train. I was craving a McDonald's breakfast sandwich and I remember the one by me being opened 24 hours. So I figured that they'd have to be selling it. So I go through the drive-thru and find out that they don't sell breakfast sandwiches this late so we tried ordering nuggets/strips. Uhm yeah, they don't sell that either. Apparently after 12, they only sell fries, quarter pounders, and chicken sandwiches. Dude, I crave breakfast foods late at night. Why even stay open 24 hours when you sell like nothing? Luckily, I can always count on Taco Bell to come through with the beef & potato burritos!

Dry

Judging by the weather today, you would have never guessed it rained so much over the entire week. But when I think about it, though the rain and flooding sucked for driving conditions, better that it rained here than in Louisiana.

Classes this past week had been pretty sucky. There's this older guy that recently switched into one of my presentation groups. Oh man, is he creepy, creepy, creepy! Not only does he constantly mumble and talk to himself, I recently caught him staring very inappropriately at this other girl in my group. He just gives me this vibe that makes me really uncomfortable to be around him. But it's not only me that feels this way, other girls have mentioned that he creeps them out too. I actually ran into him the other night and I just said hi to be nice and he totally cornered me. All I know is that I will not be working anywhere alone with him.

I've been so accident prone this week. The other night, I accidentally cut my big toe. It was such a tiny cut but it wouldn't stop bleeding, like for 20 minutes straight! I ghetto-ed it by wrapping tissues around it & using a hair clip/claw to keep the paper in place around the toe. Also, I gave myself a paper cut which normally isn't a big deal. Well, apparently it managed to get infected somehow and now it's swollen and icky colored.

I went to IKEA with Kevin today because he wanted to scan around and possibly pick up some new furniture. I was surprised to see all the items that I had bought over a year ago were still being sold. We had wanted to either pick up the love couch or shelving today first. A total no go...my car was wide enough for the items but not long enough at all! It's crazy, some of the stuff was over 70 inches long, you totally need a minivan! Lesson learned, length is more important than width.

Smile, at least it's Hump Day!

Is it naptime again? Posted by Picasa

I don't know what sucks more, being sick, having work due, or an exam the next day? Oooh, I know, how about all of the above? I'm not the only one that's been feeling under the weather this week though, I wonder what's going around? Too bad that I have to drive and need to be awake or I totally would be chugging a bottle of NyQuil at this point. Nothing's better than being all spacey, seeing little pixies dance around you, and completely conking out anywhere you set your body down to.

My motivation for the week? MTB3 starts on Thursday!! Woo hoo, I love it.

Dial-A-Psycho

I don't know what it is but lately I've had a few experiences with people who dial the wrong number. I get people who keep calling back, even though I've told them numerous times that they got the wrong number. Or when I tell them that so and so do not reside here, they ask me if I'm sure about that. Well, today, I get the most crazed lady ever. Within a time frame of 20 minutes, she must have called 8-10 times! The first few times, I tell her nicely that she just has the wrong number. The following times she asks if a Albert lives here and I tell her that there's no one by that name. She demands me to tell her what my name is and the names of all the people who live here, uhm yeah, I'm going to tell you all of that. A later call, she's gotten pissed off and demands me to tell her the address to the phone number. At this point, I'm ready to *69 her ass! I get a few moments of uninterrupted work done and the phone rings again, this time the moment I pick up, the same lady just automatically goes, "Oh I have the wrong number" so I hang up without even saying a word. Immediately she calls back and yells at me asking, "Why did you hang up right after I spoke?!?" Uhm lady, as if I wanted to have a conversation with you! So I slammed the phone down and luckily no more calls after that. Sheesh, what a freaking psycho! It's so nice seeing people with nothing better to do. What I don't understand is why people do not understand what "sorry, you have the wrong number" means. I could understand calling back a 2nd time but anything after that is just ridiculous.
