Little helper

I was at the post office earlier this morning and saw this little boy do the cutest thing. He was helping his mom carry two packages in so he was following in behind her. Somehow (I still don't know why the mom wouldn't hold the door for her little tot), the door closed on him before he could get in. So there he was, using the packages to push the door open. Of course he couldn't open the doors, no matter how hard he tried so he just started crying. I quickly ran to open the door right next to it, thinking he'd just run through there. But instead, he didn't even realize he could go through my opened door, he just fixated on trying to push open the one that his mother went through. I thought it was cute that he wanted to be like his mommy so of course he wanted to go through the same exact door, because that's what grown-ups do. Eventually, the mother walks back annoyed, screams at him to walk through the open door and yells at him for crying! Are you serious? It's not like he was 10 years old, he couldn't have been any older than 4 years old.

New amigos

I made a promise that I wouldn't buy Cinnamon anymore toys until Christmas time. Looks like I caved in. I only went with the intent to pick him up his treats but then I saw the "Bobo" toy and had to get it! If it looks familiar, it should, it's in that cute commercial that I posted a whiles ago. Except I think this one is cuter because the dog is wearing a hat and holding a baseball. Cinny absolutely loved it, he played with it from the early afternoon until night. That's why I never feel guilty about buying him toys because he really appreciates it. The only one bad thing about this toy, it gets soaking wet for some strange reason. It's actually kind of gross that it gets that soggy. Of course he felt the need to constantly push the toy against my leg!

Wham, baam, thank you ma'am

This was part of my horoscope for Saturday:

"You feel increasingly rebellious with a partner or close friend. Alternatively, you might meet someone unusual today. You have a lot of great energy coming from various directions this month to help you see things from the other person's perspective and to connect on a much deeper spiritual level too."

Oh wow, meet someone unusual? They must have meant the crazy man on the motorcycle who hit the back of my car. What are some unusual traits? How about the fact that I was just driving along and out of nowhere I get hit and the motorist was ready to do a hit & run until I literally pulled him over and yelled out the window that he whacked me? Or the fact that he told me that I would now have a funny story to tell all my friends about how I was hit by a man on a bike? "Deeper spiritual level" connection? More like slap-your-ass physical connection.

Hugs to TV

Welcome back shows! I am such a dork, I've been so excited for the shows that have returned and I've been all anxious for the ones that will be back in a few weeks too. It really sucked not having anything to watch these past few months but now my babies will be back on! Woo hoo. So what's on the menu? Prison Break is back on with the very yummy Wentworth! The show is freaking awesome and the eye candy helps it even more. It's so scary how smart some people can be. It's funny, I normally am disgusted by massive body tattoos, but he just makes it look good. Then there's Bones, oooh ooh, David Boreanaz! (It's not my fault that these shows are great & have the added eye candy bonus) Squints rule! I am so amazed by the technology on that show, but I don't know if it really exists though. Apparently this show is obsessed with pork because last season they shoved a pig into a wood cutter and this season, they made a spam human being and set it on fire. Good to see oinks being put to use.

Desperate Housewives will be back on, I really hope this season will be better than last year. I did hear good news though, well for me, but John will be back this season (hopefully shirtless yet again). I also read that Bree might be getting married and having a bun in the oven too (I guess since she's really pregnant, they have to play it in somehow?) I can't wait for Grey's Anatomy either! It's pretty obvious that Meredith is going to say byebye to the vet since she's going to "follow" her heart and plus Chris O'Donnell is only signed for a few episodes. Then there's Smallville (Tom Welling!) and Supernatural, though I don't know any spoilers for these shows. Then in October, there's my What About Brian. Yeah, I really don't know how I'm going to tune in to all these shows, but normally I just catch up on them on the weekends. To add more to the list, there's a new show called Brothers & Sisters that I think looks interesting too.

Does anyone else have shows that they're all excited for their return? I know that poor Zach has had most of his shows cancelled.

Football lovin'

It seems that I've been on a football movie craze lately. First, I watched Invincible. I liked it, everyone's gotta love a story where you root for the underdog. Plus, it was amusing watching all the men play football in their daisy dukes! I still can't believe how tiny their shorts were. The only thing I didn't like was Papale's wife who left him. She is pure evil in a jar. When she decided to leave him, she took everything from their home and left him this horrible letter which basically said that he was nothing and would never accomplish anything. How cruel can you get? She just really disgusted me. Then I just saw The Gridiron Gang, which I really enjoyed! I love the Rock, he's seriously growing on me even more. I think he's great with his roles, from rough & tough guys, to gay cowboys, he's good at it.

The itis

I've been having a bad case of the various itis. No, I'm not talking about that overwhelming feeling of sleepiness that comes after you've eaten too much food. That type of itis, I sure don't mind. Two weeks ago the doctor said I had bronchitis and apparently now I have sinusitis. The worst part is that there isn't medication I can take to stop the coughing until I get the sinus areas drained. In all honesty, I can deal with the sinus areas, it's the coughing that sucks and it's the thing that they can't get rid of directly.

Let's take a closer look at itis. What exactly does it mean when the doctor tells you that you have some sort of itis. In a nutshell, it means you've got inflammation of a certain body part. Did you know that there are over 50 types of itis? That's a lot of inflammation possibilities that can go on with your body. I'm just glad that I don't have an itis involving any of the regions that determine whether you pee standing up or sitting down if you catch my drift!

Bobo & Buddy

There has been this Petsmart commercial that I had been trying to catch for the past year now. I really don't know why I didn't think of it sooner to try and search for it on youtube but luckily I was able to find it! It is so cute and it holds a very special place in my heart. The commercial involves a dachshund named Buddy and his toy named Bobo. It might not seem that special to anyone else but those two names put together have significant meaning. My girl's dog was named Buddy. Well, my Bobo and her Buddy went to doggy heaven on the same exact day so we have been using it as comfort that the two of them are best buds and have been partying it up. Seeing the commercial with those two names just brings more comfort.
