Symmetry or "symmetry"?



What does this look like to you?

I was continuing my symmetry lesson today and I thought that it would be cool to use paint to illustrate the concept of it. We got some cool designs and even some creepy ones, where we saw faces in them. Of course the moment I saw the design of the one above, I just died. Luckily, there wasn't another adult in the room with me or I would have just lost it. A co-worker of mine pointed out the details of the design, and noted that it appeared to have veins too.

I had wanted to hang them outside but I guess they'll have stay inside the classroom.

Keep bending me until I break

There really has been a lot of "not nice" stuff happening to me lately but I must say the real kicker was today. Being assaulted by a student really takes the cake and opens up the gates to a flooding of emotions.

Cinnamon's Birthday!

Happy birthday to my Cinny today!! I can't believe he turned 4 today. Originally I planned on coming home earlier so that I could spend more time with him but of course something ridiculous had to happen. Cinny got to snack on an ice cream treat which he gobbled up in no time, and he got some yogurt shaped treats too (those were consumed in seconds).









Cinnamon is showing off what Kevin got him. He's all excited to have his own, now he doesn't have to bite one of ours and run around with it in his mouth. Go Rangers!
