"Rain rain, go away..."Don't get me wrong, I actually like walking around and getting drizzled when it's nice and cool. There's just something about it being all dreary outside and being able to skip around happily, feeling refreshed from the downpour. It's sort of empowering, like you're giving the big golden finger to the world, saying, "You can rain all you want but I'm going to shine!" But it's definitely not fun when it's warm rain. I was running errands yesterday and of course whenever I was inside a store, it was sunny out. The moment that I'm walking halfway to my car, total downpour! I stepped into so many puddles that were warm! To me, it was such a gross feeling, like stepping into a puddle of pee. Ick.
Thankfully when I pulled up to Rita's, the downpour had stopped. That way, the workers wouldn't think I was a nut job for going out in this weather to get some. I actually hadn't gone in close to two weeks, I'm sure they were sending out the search party. Funny thing, I got Emmy hooked on it from the first taste! (3x in a row - hehe)
I went out to dinner for Sam's bday this past weekend. It was at
Bistro Ole. Asbury Park has definitely been cleaned up a bit, but I still think the area is scary and kind of shady. The owner, Rico, is the cutest man ever, so full of zest and life. Our food took a long time to get out so our waiter kept showing us some of his magic tricks. He even made Rico's underwear appear in Sam's hands! Bom chicka wah wah. I also got to watch
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. This definitely wasn't my favorite one, it's getting much darker which sets it up for the final movies left to come.
I always try to not let what someone has said/done
get to me. But when the line has been crossed, too many times, it's going to leave a mark. Honestly, it takes a whole butt load to upset me - I know I let a lot of things slide when I shouldn't. This just goes to show the depth of what was said/done to get on my bad poopy list.
It's like Kevin is a psychic or something because he surprised me with a bunch of cheer-me-ups during the week before! He stayed up late just to get me the new Rihanna & Chris Brown remix - I actually hadn't even heard of it yet but he knew I loved the song and the singers. He also gave me some credit to buy supplies for my jewelry making and let me use his gift certificates from Amazon to get a purse! Muchas muchas gracias! And how do I repay him? By kicking his butt in bowling on the
Wii. I really don't know how any of this happened....
A first ever - 8 strikes in a row! We were cracking up so much as each strike happened. I actually questioned myself to see if I was tripping...

What could be more awesome than 8 in a row? How about 9?!? Ka-pie-yah!
