Deer veer!

While driving home before, I had quite the scare! A deer ran across the highway out of nowhere and I barely missed it. Luckily I was able to swerve and brake in time. I really thought I didn't have a chance because of the speed that I was going out. I wasn't speeding, just highway speed limit. At that moment, the memories of the accident from years ago came flooding back and I became hysterical. I don't think anyone can fully understand how much damage a deer can do until they've gone through it. It took me so long to be okay with driving down that road, without being crazy paranoid and alert. Now, because of those 30 seconds, the anxieties are back.
