Cruisin'
I finally went on my first cruise ever with Kevin and Emmy and I had an awesome time! It was also the first time I've ever been able to see waters that gorgeous colored. We spent the first day just exploring the ship and trying to figure out how we would be spending our time. Since M's luggage was the only one that didn't arrive at our room yet, we all opted to just keep on whatever we were wearing for dinner. Originally I had thought that it would have been a small setting but we were brought to a giant table. Who would we be having dinner with for the next few days? How about 6 Russian grandmas, who barely spoke any English. It was weird at first and most of them seemed so angry and displeased with everything. But as the nights went on, a few started opening up and we definitely enjoyed their company. Em and I even gave each one a nickname. We had Grill (because she was totally eyeing me like a piece of steak the first night), Sexy (well cause she's really sexy), Angry (who did smile the last night), Sugar Free/Grinder, Camera Shy, and Pirate Lover. It was so awesome being able to order whatever you wanted. Trust me, Em and I took full advantage when it came to the desserts. The best was the cherry (which really were the size of my eyeballs) and banana flambes! I really loved the fact that I never had to drive myself nuts trying to figure out eating plans. Also, it was fun getting dressed up and trying to coordinate outfits on some nights.

There was even an ice skating rink on our ship! Of course Kevin made all the teeny boppers jealous with his mad skills. So many of the boys would look at him with their gaping m

Alrighty, I will post more later on. If you want to see pics, just ask.

I'm sorry, I was under the mistaken impression you were all ona cruise ship, not a cruise island.
Seriously, rock climbing and ice skating? What's the deal with that, yo?
Hahahaha. That was one of the reasons I chose the ship. Rargh, wall and rink! It's nice, it gives you a chance to do things you normally probably wouldn't have time to enjoy.
Sounds like you had a great time Staceee You went on the same ship Paul and I did last year to Bermuda and we're taking it again (its sister ship I think but the exact same layout) I think they only have ice skating on certain days because they use that room for the nightcluc and other shows (like the Newlywed game and the Quest game show etc) So we only got to go skating the last day we were on the ship but it was fun I didnt try the rock climbing thing and Im not sure if I want to on my honeymoon Paul uses the gym on the ship while I nap so that seems like a good way for us both to get some excerise ; ) Heehee
You were on the Explorer when you went to Bermuda? Imagine if chairs I sat on, you did a year ago? Woah, haha, jk. It's actually weird, they held the shows in the main Palace Theater. I just guessed that the skaters needed practice for the show and they didn't want to ruin the ice on nights that they had a showing? I caught the Newlywed game on the TV and this grandpop was so awesome! Well, you do walk around the ship so that is your exercise...I got us to get up in the AM to walk the track while crazy joggers mowed us down!
Alright, I can only comment to you through this. But so exciting that you got your bed from the moms! That must have been so weird for her to realize it's a bed that you and Paul will be sleeping on...together! I give her props though on the sheets, at least she didn't pick like ginormous grandma flowery prints! And oooh, so you can have the aisle runner now? Another thing for your to-do list.
