Geek Gang Bang

As a favor for Kevin, I went to EB to try and get their N64 deal. Apparently, if you buy any 3 used games for $4.99 and up, they give you a free used N64. Sooo, I get in there, and the 2 guys working there obviously do nothing but play games all day. At first, I was asking all these questions and looking for games, they could obviously tell I didn't really know what was going on. So the one guy was like, "Oh, I went to the back and picked out the best newest one for you!" Uhm thanks? Well when I went to pay for the stuff, it was taking a while. The other guy saw one of the games and he was like, "Yo Wrestlemania, that game is awesome!" So I told him that Def Jam Vendetta was even better! And the guy was like, "Oh I know, I bought it the first day!" I was like the moves will crack you up. Then that brought it all on...they were like I loved that so and so move...like they memorized, MEMORIZED the names to all the moves. I was like, "Wow, you guys actually know the names? I just call it the ass raping or the gay pelvic thrust!" Of course that brought on the roar of geeky laughter. Afterwards, the one guy was like I can't wait for the 2nd one, it'll have Snoop Dogg in it, "I'm gonna be all fo-shizzy on it fo sho!" Oh myyyyyyy, I was so ready to die after he said that. I got conned into paying the insurance (it was only 6 bucks anyways) but cause Kevin's old one really got destroyed during a thunderstorm. Then one dude was like, "Really? From lightening? Where you playing it out on the porch or something?" I was like uhhmmm, no, it probably travelled through the wires or something. They ended up needing my addy and stuff and when he saw that I lived in East Windsor, he started going, "East Windsor, ma town, ma town...you be livin & representin in ma town!" Holy crap, you're white and you do nothing but play video games all day, stop trying to play the gangsta rapper role! In a nutshell, I felt like I was a victim of a geek gang bang. I swear I am never going into those stores alone, it's like they see a girl who plays some games and it's an open target for them!

Jojo, Kat, & Daisy have fun with Off!

It's been quite the night. Much pregaming experimentation with orange & mango rum....we discovered a few winners. One of the ones I made totally tasted like candy but then I definitely felt the repercussions afterwards. It totally felt like we were in highschool when we snuck the drinks in waterbottles to the park. There were soooo many people just lounging out in the park, I don't think I ever realized that that many people live in our town. Luckily we had some Off! or we would have been eaten alive by insects. But of course none of us decided to read the label at all...apparently you're not supposed to spray it on underneath your clothing? I don't see why not but there's obviously a reason for that. But of course, Jess decided to go crazy with the Off! and applied it like 1000 times and sprayed everyone else...even accidentally onto faces....that was real lovely. The fireworks were so nice, I've never seen them that close to the point where it was kinda blinding. I've always been a fan of the ones that look like swirly spermys....but tonight I saw one that exploded into the shape of a star! I coulda sworn I saw one that became a heart but no one believes me so I probably imagined it :P
