It's so nice to be back at home & with internet access :) The past few days have been hectic but a lot better than being at work though! So, I got a chance to catch the show "O" with like 2nd row seating...oh my, it was so breath-taking, I can't even explain it, the people have such massive strength, I feel so wussy compared to them. Oooh the best part while at Las Vegas, didn't get carded once...yeah Yeah! They have such good buffets there with insane desserts, I totally went nuts when I saw it. I think I consumed like what would normally cost $50 at restaurants worth of desserts....crepes, all these cakes & pastries...I'm gonna have to give up desserts for a month now, let's see how long my will power will last for. So I got to see the Grand Canyon as well, now I know why it's grand...pictures definitely don't do it any justice at all. The bus ride there was psycho, sooo bumpy and I was like thrown everywhere. Ooh, I got to see cactuses, with my stupidity I actually backed up into one, yeah did it hurt like a mofo. What else, not by my choice or desire, we ended up going to Oatmen Ghost town, it's where they first built the paved Highway 66...I never knew what was behind that logo till now, I feel so edumacated now! They have all these wild burro's roaming around and you could feed them carrots, I'm such a kid with that, I get such a kick outta feeding animals. Uhm yeah, we went into a gold mine, I must be the first short person ever to run into something, I could understand that you're tall and you hit the ceiling but somehow on the way out I wasn't watching my sides and ran into a protruding rock area! Yeah, it was embarassing as hell. I must not have very good peripheral vision or something. So I spent the last 2 days in San Jose at my aunt's, she totally acts like my older sister, the best part is we can share clothes too :) I made everyone walk around Fisherman's Wharf with me so I could try and find the place that had the best clam chowder that I had back in highschool....I'm so insane, basing it all on a mere memory but in the end we found it and it was sooooooo worth it. I think the trip mostly consisted of food for me, I may have to starve myself for a month now. We had this dim sum place, it so good and not even that expensive, they even had this paper/foil chicken that I hadn't had since I was really little too. I dunno, something bout having stuff you used to have as a kid that just makes ya feel all tingly & fuzzy inside. Though the funniest incident would have to be when Bach called me outta nowhere and asked me what I was up to and I simply replied that I was sittin in a car in California....when else do you have a chance to answer so randomly? ;)

What I learned at my unfortunate expense: Women at sales are all insane.
I thought by having a ticket to go in during the Friends & Family presale would have kept me from having to wait at all for the Shiseido warehouse sale...boy was I wrong. I waited over an hour & half just to get in...I seriously can't even imagine how long it's going to be over the next few days for the regular sales. So when I finally got in, you had to pick up this cardboard box first...uhm yeah, good idea...give angry women boxes, why don't you just hand us all chainsaws while you're at it? I have NEVER had my ass handed to me by so many women...like they were all seriously insane...people are shoving you left and right, jabbing you with boxes, grabbing things in your face. Not to mention the amounts that most of them were buying....like people had like over $800 worth of crap in a lil cardboard box....like where do they have the body space to use all of that? It's kinda funny though....while on checkout, most of the women were looking at the stuff they took and were trying to figure out what it was for and where they put it actually. Like why buy cat food when you don't have a cat, just cause the stuff is on sale? Maybe I just don't understand the mentality of "things on sale." All I know is that there is no way anyone can ever get me to go to a warehouse full of women crazed for a sale! :P

What a sense of empowerment after scaling that mountain with the roomies on saturday! Not to mention the sore feet, legs, ass, arms...you name it, it hurt. It didn't seem so bad when we first had to hike all that way to get to the mountain...funny that if we drove that distance it would have been done in like less than 5 minutes. I'm so proud of myself, I was in contact with so many strange colored spiders, attacked by these giant red bees/hornets (yes, they were red), and even a salamander...and I didn't even do my usual spastic flip out! I was checkin out this tower of "love" with M when Kev told us to check out this labyrinth thing...as soon as we walked towards it, there was the hugest unindentifiable poop smell....so horrid! So yah, basically ran thru it holding my breath. To get back at him for putting us thru that nasty maze of stench which by the way had no exit...we locked him inside the bathroom :) Dude, it was so awesome scaling those rocks and stuff....going over them, between them, under them...we even climbed some huge boulders that were unmarked...kinda scary knowing that you really could fall off the edge and die, but you kinda don't think much when you get the chance to do something like that. The one main sucky thing was when people were hot on our tails...made us feel like we had to speed up or something, even worse for me since I always say the strangest thing and now there were strangers to hear it. At one point I was making a joke that I had never consumed so much water in my life...I was saying that my body was rejecting this foreign object and this like kid turns around and gives me the weirdest look as if I had 5 heads. I think the best was when Kev was on a huge boulder and I told him to stop looking so suicidal and this guy behind us was like you're a mental case! Ohhh, the hardest part was going thru this crevice...it was sooo wet & slippery, and dark...the space was literally the size of me...I was leading and at one point towards the top I realized it was soo impossible to pull thru, of course I started freaking out that if I slipped I would drop and kill everyone underneath me...but luckily I squeezed thru! Ooooh, the view after that was soo incredible, there are no words to describe it...you could see miles and miles of green & orange trees...then you climb towards the edge and look at the long drop down...I couldn't even believe how high we had scaled. As for scares wise, I think emmy caused the biggest one cause she suddenly slipped close to the ledge and this russian lady totally flipped out...but luckily she slipped on the rock before the plumet ledge. The hike back down & back towards the car was soooo long...my suggestion was that they should have a complimentary sky-lift for the way back! The worst part was that at one point we didn't take a turn and ended up going the opposite way from the car....at that point, the complaints consisted of Kev just wanting to go sit in the car, Em needing to use the potter, and me craving for a soda or anything sugary liquid...glad to see we all have our priorities straight :P But thank you fellow wrestling champs for doing this with me, it definitely made me think less of the sh*tbomb aka ghetto breakup...
