Machinery Awe


Wow, each week I see a cool contraption that I wanna drive and use more! Let's see, it first started with the big huge tractor like thingy that I saw mowing down all the dried up corn. Then, there was the lil cart that sucked up trash. It looked like a bigger version of a golf cart cept it had this giant vacuum pipe that the guy moved around to suck up garbage on the streets....so much smarter than using a poker and stabbing everything. I was seriously thinking about going up to him and telling him I would do his job for him. Then again, he would have thought I was insane. I dunno why the idea of vacuuming up trash on the streets is fun to me, probably cause I don't have to do it everyday of my life. For some reason, I made myself believe that those giant cement blocks that they use on roads (to block the 2 opposite sides) were set down with just man power. I figure they put the giant orange cones down, why not cement blocks? But...just the other night, I finally saw a machine that did it. It's so cute...it's thin and it kinda just rests ontop of all the blocks, that way it can do its thing while the cars on both sides can still drive on by. I guess it kinda eats it up in a sense? To me, it looks like that little one man train that they have inside the Holland tunnel.

Ooh, on a random note....the man selling ice cream from the truck ended up giving me 2 free ice cream bars...probably cause he thought I was 5 but I'm gonna pretend it's because I bought a lot from him :P
