Damn, I'm really starting to feel old especially after this weekend. The road trip up to Lewisburg wasn't so long but it was just one of those long drives, especially because it was so boring and there was nothing to look at. Though, we did catch a few mullets, it was a very nice touch! The roads up there are so different...they have all these little signs telling you to keep your headlights on, not to tailgate...they even had these giant ass dots on the floor and a sign that recommended that you stay 2 dots away from the car in front of you. Oh and their medians...they were like extra high. My logic on it was that because they had the falling rock signs, they figured that if a rock fell on one side, it wouldn't be able to roll over onto the other side of the road! But yeah, Betty was like, "Uhm, it's so that the highbeams/lights don't bother you from the cars & trucks."
Visitin Jess at her school, it's so weird cause it's nothing like Rutgers, I can't imagine not having to take buses to go to different campuses. But of course, the lack of asians was so strange for me to take. Oh man, so Friday night, we did the pub crawl....yeah, I am way too old for that, I nearly died after the 3rd bar already. But I had some interesting drinks...this thing called the Bomber, it was HUGE and they set it on fire first :) Oh and this chocolate beer...it was sooo dark, I was like ooooh chocolate, that's why it's like pitch black....uhmmm no, it was more like it tasted like dark dark beer with no hint of chocolate at all, basically it was ass. I think my faves were the Red Death and the Grasshopper. It's kinda funny cause they are way strict on their campus, like you get in trouble for being a lil intoxicated in public so it was a very hard walk back. After that night, I swore to be sober forever.
It's so funny cause what we do best is shop, we still managed to find a tiny mall with stores that we didn't really know, & still buy things. It was a good thing that we were out all day cause apparently there was a huge blackout throughout the whole town. Like there were NO lights on the road at all, it was the freakiest thing ever. We had plans to go to a Mardi Gras & Cover band thing at TKE, this was the gayest thing that I've ever heard...you have to be on a list to get in. So when we got there, there was this huge line and guys sittin on a table checkin to see if you could get in or not...it worked out great cause me & Beth took her friend's #'s to get in (one was asian & the other a red head). I just thought it was so weird cause I've never had to wait like that to get in....it was also funny cause they were turning away soo many skanked out girls cause they weren't listed....so opposite of what would be done at good ol' RU. After that, we went over to this party where Jess told me that I would feel more comfortable cause I would be around a lot of asians. Yeah, so there were like 12...I was telling them this does not compare to Busch campus, they were so amazed that we populated that much of the school. So yah, I ended up breaking my promise to be sober and had some Hop Skip while playing asshole...so I guess I'll be starting it now.... :P
